James M. Geller, President of Geller International
James Geller has over 35+ years of International Business experience. Mr. Geller has an M.I.B.A (Master of International Business Administration) from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Mr. Geller has lived in Japan and has traveled regularly to Asia for over 27 years. He is fluent in conversational Japanese and Spanish, as well as knowledgeable about most Asian & Latin & Middle Eastern cultures. Early in Mr. Geller’s career he worked in the field of customs brokerage and freight forwarding, where he gained valuable experience in international logistics, financial services, letter of credit negotiation, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Moving to the field of export trading in the early 80’s Mr. Geller helped pioneer the exporting of U.S. Beef products into most of the key South East Asia markets. Over the course of 35+ years, he has developed relationships with senior management in many of the best import distribution companies in each marketplace. Today, these relationships help play a key role in the successful placement of our U.S. clients’ products into key Asian-Pacific markets.
Edythia Lie, Vice President of Export Sales
Originally from Indonesia. Before coming to Geller Int’l, her career has background work in Finance for a famous San Francisco Produce Whole seller. She has background work in imports & exports for perishables. She is fluent in Indonesian, Malaysian, and English.
Amy Xu, Vice President of International Trade
Amy Xu was born in Shanghai, China and immigrated to the United States at a young age. She attended California State University where she earned bachelor degree in Business administration. Prior to joining Geller, Amy held positions in food industry, banking and title insurance. She is fluent in Mandarin, Shanghainese, Cantonese and English.
Wendy Wong, Administrative Manager
Wendy Wong, originally from Hong Kong, moved to the USA in the early 90’s together with her family. Ms. Wong, prior to joining Geller Int’l held positions in finance, insurance, and the trading business. She runs all the documentation services for both our import & export departments. Wendy is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. We are happy to have Ms. Wong as a team member.
Arron Tan, Wagyu Sales Manager
Arron Tan is originally from Canton, China. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University where he majored in finance. Arron also has banking and teaching background. In Geller International, he handles the distributions of Japanese A-5 wagyu to US restaurants and food service partners.
